Diocesan Scholarship Program

NOTE:  NEW K-12 families can still apply online for tuition assistance with a TADS Application through September 15, 2018.

Dear Parents,

The Diocese of Sioux City Catholic Schools Scholarship program and St. Mary’s School are pleased to again provide tuition assistance to qualifying families. Both the Diocesan Scholarship program and St. Mary's School will be utilizing TADS, a company from Minneapolis, MN, to assist in determining the level of assistance to be awarded.

Every family is asked to complete an application.  Your personal information will be held in strictest confidence at all times. If divorced parents each pay a portion of the tuition, then each household needs to complete an application for a possible award towards their portion of tuition. There is a $23.00 non-refundable processing fee for the online application payable to TADS.

The TADS application needs to be completed no later than April *3, 2018 and is available online at www.mytads.com in both English and Spanish. See the links to the left for FAQ about Aid Assessment. We urge you to complete the materials early to allow time for notification of any missing materials. (*Note extended deadline. TADS Offices will be closed 3/30-4/1 due to Easter.)

You will receive award notification letters from the Sioux City Diocese around the middle of May and the full tuition award that includes both the Diocese and St. Mary’s will be reviewed at the tuition meeting in June.  The Diocesan Financial Scholarship coupled with our local tuition assistance program makes Catholic Education affordable for all.

At St. Mary’s School, we are happy to assist you with the application process. A brief video to aid you in the application process can be found at the link to the left. If you do not have internet access to complete this application online, please call the Finance Office at 732-3110 for assistance.

We strongly encourage every family to complete an application. The Diocesan Financial Scholarship coupled with our local tuition assistance program will be able to make Catholic Education affordable for all.
