 K-12 Technology Integrationist & Teacher

Looking for a part-time technology integrationist.  This individual provides tech support to teaching staff as needed, helps with state and district assessments, provides support to all teaching staff as needed, provides support for computer science standards implementation, etc.  A teaching license is required for this position.

K-5 Physical Education Teacher

Looking for a K-5 physical education teacher who holds PE classes 2-3 times a week for grades K-5, supports health and wellness initiatives throughout the building, helps plan extra activities as required (such as an elementary track and field day), and also supervises students in various capacities such as recess and before school.  

Librarian

We are looking for a full or part-time individual who can take over the organization and continuing growth of our Reading Center library.  This individual works with classroom teachers and students to introduce and support reading efforts in the school, leads 30-minute weekly visits with classes at PK-5 levels to check-out books, introduce authors and genres, do read a louds, etc.  A library science degree preferred.

K-5 Classroom Teacher

We are looking for a general education teacher at the K-5 level who would teach reading, writing/ELA, math, science, social studies, and art for a designated grade level of students.  This is for the 2023-2024 school year.  Class sizes are no more than 25 students.  Further details provided upon request.  An active Initial or Standard Iowa Teaching license is required. 

Full-Time Teacher Aides and After School Supervisor Position

This joint position would involve helping support students and teachers at various grade levels within PK-5.  From approximately 8:30-3pm, the individual would work with students in classrooms who have special needs, participate in student instruction with classroom teachers, fill in for staff absences (of non-licensed personnel), supervise some recess duties, and help supervise in the lunchroom.  Roles and responsibilities may adjust throughout a year and year-to-year, so flexibility is key.  This individual would work 8:30-4:30pm, with the final 90 minutes of their day being in the after school program as a supervisor.  There are additional trainings that go along with the after school program responsibilities, and these can be clarified by administration at time of inquiry.  

Substitute Teacher Aide position

We are looking for adults who have experience working with children who could help fill in as a substitute for teacher associates when they are absent.  This position does not require a sub authorization but does require a background check and Virtus completion before working with children.  We are in need of substitute teacher aides often at the PK-5 level.  Responsibilities may include assisting in classrooms, supervising recess, supervising the lunchroom, and working with individual students or small groups.
