Mock Trial is an extracurricular, academic competition offered to St. Mary's middle and high school students and is created to help students acquire a working knowledge of our judicial system, develop analytical abilities and communication skills and gain an understanding of their obligations and responsibilities as participating members of our society.
Students spend months preparing, becoming familiar with their case and rehearsing roles as a witness or defense member of the team. Competition is held as they "go to trial" and compete against other teams from the area.
