4th-5th Classroom Teacher:
We are looking for general education teachers at the 4th and 5th grade level who would teach reading, writing/ELA, math, science, social studies, and art for a designated grade level of students.  This is for the 2023-2024 school year.  Class sizes are no more than 25 students.  Further details provided upon request.  An active Initial or Standard Iowa Teaching license is required. 

7-12 Language Arts Instructor:
St. Mary's High School in Storm Lake, Iowa, is seeking a Language Arts teacher, preferably one with a Master's Degree in English who could also teach college-level courses through our local community college. Therefore, the position ideally would include a mixture of high school and college-level courses. However, if you do not have the Master's Degree qualifications and are interested in a position, please still apply. Part-time teacher associate role:
We are looking for an individual interested in working approximately 7:15am-12:30pm each school day as a teacher associate.  Roles would include classroom assistance at various levels (PK-5), breakfast and lunch room scanning, as well as lunchroom supervision and possible recess supervision. Desired characteristics include strong work ethic, a flexible personality, and willingness to be a team-player.  Prior experience with children in a school setting is preferred, and bilingual skills are desirable (though not a requirement). Must be willing to complete required trainings and Virtus completion/background checks as part of the hiring process.

Substitute Teacher Aide Position:
We are looking for adults who have experience working with children who could help fill in as a substitute for teacher associates when they are absent.  This position does not require a sub authorization but does require a background check and Virtus completion before working with children.  We are in need of substitute teacher aides often at the PK-5 level.  Responsibilities may include assisting in classrooms, supervising recess, supervising the lunchroom, and working with individual students or small groups.

Substitute Teacher Position:
We a seeking dedicated and reliable substitute teachers to join our school community. As a substitute teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education and providing a positive learning environment for students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
